Crystal's cousins on her father's side are a part of her band, in other words, all of the members of the band are her cousins.

Why cousins? you may ask. 

She didn't get to find suitable members for the band? No.
Is it because she has no friends? Maybe... but no.
Or did their parents set them up in a band? A part of it is that but still no.

It happened by chance and by fate. It was also the answer to their questions.

The universe has put these cousins in a band on a journey of discovering music, friendship, family, love, and themself despite the cousins not being close in the first place.

Well, the only reason that Crystal wants to be in a band is so that she can graduate from being an NBSB, it is very hard to believe but she wants to finally have a boyfriend that's why she agrees to be in that band.

The real question is has Crystal found a boyfriend after joining the Band? Do the other members of the band have a lover? Though love is great, music is greater and it is for you to find out.
