Ace was the heir to the Brighton estate, and that includes the hotel and casino. He knew Glenda wanted to be his stepmother despite being just a year older than him. The then twenty-seven-year-old woman couldn't hide the fact that she had no qualms about marrying his father not because she was in love but because she wanted the family fortune to herself. She was power hungry.. and he must be crazy for wanting to marry her himself but he found it next to impossible not to. Glenda proved to be more than just a captivating distraction, her honesty was refreshing and that hunger not only intrigued him, it challenged him he even told his father that he would make her fall in love with him, she would care more about him than all the money and power she could find, grab, and own.

But he was more than just crazy for wanting her. He was a fool to believe Glenda would not betray him.

They say hell hath no fury than a woman scorned. But they clearly haven't met someone like Glenda.

Hell hath no fury than a woman who almost had it all. Now, he's not the only one in danger, but his friends, too.
