An AU in which Rui is a Prince and Tsukasa is a skilled pianist and entertainer for their palace. However, considering the King & Queens fondness of Tsukasa, they can't give him a break! And poor Tsukasa has to overwork himself with finding ways to please the Royal Family, which Prince Rui slowly realised and grew concerned for him despite his usual carefree personality. Of course, Rui contained those emotions away from his parents.
When the upcoming ball reached Tsukasa's ears, he knew he'd have to work harder to please not only the King & Queen, but all the visitors at the ball. Sleepless nights will occur, and he knows it. Though, Rui found the ball an idea to minimize Tsukasa's work instead of giving him more.
Who would've known that the ball would fall on Tsukasa's on birthday!
And who would've known that he was about to receive the best gift of his life...

Prince Tsukasa Tenma had always been very proud to serve his own kingdom. He was adored and admired by his people, and he got the honour to protect them not only as their prince, but as the head of their knights force, he brought light to his kingdom, as if he was a radiant star that could never burn itself out. Presenting himself more as a friend than a higher class, he had made many friends and was grateful for every opportunity that they had given him as their prince, and friend. Prince Rui Kamishiro, on the other hand, was the polar opposite of that of the prince of light. He despised his role as a prince, constantly wanting to run away from his responsibilities to live a life with no restraints. However after an incident that had occured when he had once tried that, Rui drowned himself in the darkness of his own kingdom and began to accept his role as its ruler. He was feared by most of his kingdoms residents, and cared not for in-formalities from those who he did not share an original bond with. Perhaps all they needed was each others presence to balance their qualities? This is a Project Sekai multi-ship fantasy au fan-fiction, focusing around Ruikasa!
