The eldest daughter of the Prince Family, one of the strongest mafia families in America, currently battling for the title of the most powerful. Despite her being the eldest of her family, with many expecting her to take the throne after her father retires, her father has a different plan entirely.

With her father thinking a woman is too weak and useless to run an entire Mafia, he resolves to pass the throne down to her brother and settle into making her in charge of the Prince Family's drug trafficking.

However, when something goes wrong with a drop-off deal, Jinx is met with an infuriating, irresistibly fine, annoyance in the form of the new police officer Nicholas Pierce.

Despite her father having other plans for her love life and it being unfathomable for a Mafia member to even socialise with law enforcement, Jinx can't stop herself from wanting what she can never have.
