In this book, America directly addresses the audience, narrating the chain of events that led him to discover some shocking truths. These truths are not only about his county's government, but also the other country-humans and himself. The questions he ignored for so long come back to haunt him, "Where did he come from?" and "why is he immortal?", but at least he isn't the only one who's curious.
