THE STORY TAKES PLACE IN 2011 "Have you ever considered how big of a bitch you are?" Marshall asks me. I've had enough of his shit already! The way he talks to me and the way he treats me is way over the line. I've never liked him and I never will and even though I've tried to keep it professional then I just can't because for some reason he doesn't like me either. "Have you considered that you should maybe just shut up sometimes?" I say rolling my eyes as I keep my eyes on the numbers on the paper. "Maybe I need to remind you that you actually work for me Jenny." Marshall says with arrogance in his tone and I can't help but laugh at him. "I work for Interscope, not for you." I correct him. "Just get this shit done." He says and throws me a stack of paper on the table. Jenny gets a new job as an accountant on Interscope Records where she's doing all the accounting on Shady Records, but she doesn't really get along with Eminem as they can't stand each other. Jenny has never been into Eminem's music or his way of behaving and even though he's sober now then Jenny still stick by her opinion about him. Christina immediately clicks with her coworker Leticia who invites her to a party with her friends, what Christina doesn't know is that Leticia's good friends are the famous D12 boys. Christina finds Eminem very attractive but she doesn't want a relationship because she just got out of a relationship, which was the mainly reason why she took the job in Detroit. It's perfect because she thinks Marshall is the perfect guy to have fun with without no strings getting attached, but it gets more complicated than she ever thought it would be. Eminem goes on national TV and apologizes, stating that the song in question was made back in 1989 when he was only 16 years old and was in response to him dating a black girl that had cheated on him and broke his heart. Eminem's PR team thinks that him merely apologizing is not enough to salvage his public image, so Paul Rosenberg gets a bright idea to locate Nikki, the girl whom the song was supposedly about and publicly reunite her with his client, and have Nikki say that she understands where Em was coming from and that she forgives him. Nikki however has other plans. All she really wants is to set the record straight once and for all... This story would take place constantly alternating between the year 2003 which is the current time it takes place, and the year 1989 where it had all began...
