Brooklyn MacDonald is an unusual young woman, with bulging eyes and a unique insight that keeps her always observant of the world around her. Despite her ability to communicate, she chooses solitude as her company, avoiding relationships and friendships. Lyn, on the other hand, found her expression in the world of visual arts and enrolled in college to pursue her dream. As she distances herself from her family and hometown, she finds herself even more isolated. Making friends has always been difficult for Lyn, and now, without the protective presence of her older sister, she feels completely alone.

Desperate to understand her own essence and overcome her loneliness, Lyn seeks the help of a psychologist. The diagnosis of schizoid personality disorder comes as a shock, but over a year of therapy, she begins to better understand herself and her relationship with the world around her. However, when Lyn falls in love with a college classmate, a young man who seems to be in a completely different world from hers, she believes that this feeling is unattainable. Convinced that he could never be interested in someone like her, Lyn is surprised when he invites her on a date.

It's a story of self-discovery, overcoming challenges, and the quest for genuine connections in a world that often seems strange and distant. It's an emotional journey that explores how love can flourish in the most unlikely places and how self-acceptance is the first step to finding happiness and true connection.
