The dull sound of the telephone echoed through the room.
No one was in the Florida base apart from NorthStar who had recently departed from his mission
As he picked up the telephone, the sound of Agent Coulson's voice boomed out the speakers
"NorthStar depart to New York as soon as possible where you will take a quinjet to the helicarrier. There you will be told your assignment. "
The end tone rang through his ears.
He placed the phone back on its stand and packed a bag filled with clothes and other necessities. Immediately, he left to try and catch the earliest flight to New York.
That was where his mission began

Nutmeg pointed to the fake Infinity Stone. "Stowne!" Loki nodded. "Yes, Stone. We need to get our hands on that thing." "And why exactly don't we just grab it?" Sarah enquired as Chelsea went a little pale. "Stop trying to read my mind, Maximoff one junior," Loki commanded, "and Sarah; I've been told," - he gestured with his scepter to Jock - "that it's not safe for humans to come anywhere close to it." "And I've been told only princes and princesses and other royalty can touch it," Michael added, "which reminds me; they're holding a meeting here soon about destroying other planets with this very Stone." Loki frowned thoughtfully. "Why would they do that? They're risking that everyone finds out it's a fake... well, unless it's not a fake. It's certainly no real Infinity Stone, but... You were already set back so much from Maverick and the hatred you had towards him, was something I didn't want. If I held you back then you would have hated me too," a few tears rolled down her face as she looked at his shoes. She couldn't bare to look up at him. He shook his head as he exhaled out trying to calm down. "But I would have never hated you. I can't hate you. It bothers me that I haven't been able to hate you for walking out on me... and then you have to hide with all the pain... I just wished you told me," he told her and took a step closer. She had looked up at him and her heart shattered even more. The whole group was there watching there fight but didn't even have words for any of it. Phoenix was the only one who knew about everything. The kids, her sister, her parents, all of it. Pheonix had watched her break down over and over and over, but she didn't realize how much it might have hurt her to see the one person she had loved her whole life. "I'm sorry, Bradley but I have to go," she turned around and passed the whole group. She didn't bare to change in the lockers but headed straight to her car.
