Welcome to the Planet Valence of the Antranochs Passiva System, where every "human" is actually a shapeshifter who can turn into a powerful "mythical" creature. It was originally led by the Dragon race, the first accepted royalty to rule this world peacefully and plentifully.
Despite this novel's genre being fantasy, there are still life lessons, situations and relationships that readers will be able to relate to and love. There is a healthy dose of action, romance and imaginative elements offered which is more than what the normal fantasy novel would usually give. The characters are presented with their own flaws, strengths, skills and problems which will endear them even more to their audiences. Most of all, the twists in the story also add a touch of suspense and even uniqueness to the novel, giving the readers more reasons to keep reading until the end.
Book one of the Shifter Series.
Arron had been asking his father if they could move for the better half of his freshman year because of the other shapeshifters and humans bullying him, but when his dad suddenly dies in a car wreck on the way home from work, his mother decides it's time to go.
Arron thought that she just couldn't take the constant flood of memories... everyone in their town knew his father and always offered their sympathies and stories, but they didn't understand that it hurt her more to be reminded of him, than it helped.
So now Arron calls Ridgedale home, and while it's definitely different than Washington, he could only hope that the kids at his new school weren't just as 'welcoming' as the ones at his previous one.
