Confinement

There are three rules that we are to follow at the village. Rule one is to not pass the stream separating the village from the woods. Rule two, do not leave the village alone. And if you happen to ignore the first two rules, at minimum we must obey rule three, which is to return to the village before sundown. There has been talk of evil lurking in the woods, and once it's dark there is nothing to protect us but the gates and guards surrounding our village. Our numbers have dwindled because of those thinking they can take on whatever lurks in those woods. We have not suffered an incident in years, that is, until today.
