Ever since Revy Crosser's grandfather passed away, strange symbols and sigils have been making an appearance in his dreams. While he's used to this kind of thing happening every night-demons and ghosts appearing-the abstract images he's been seeing lately are new and the intensity is making his head ache. Maybe if he cut back on the junk food before bedtime, these images would stop? Nah, more than likely it's just a side effect from too many hours spent gaming.
During the funeral, he heard his grandfather whisper the words "follow me." Not exactly a good thing to hear from someone who died. The voice came from somewhere further, and of course, the curious cat that he is, he followed the voice through the heart of the cemetery and ended up digging a grave with a tombstone bearing a mark similar to one of his dreams. Underneath was his grandfather's booklet--his sole memento--the one his grandpa carried with him all the time when he was still alive.
He tried to unlock its secrets one by one, which led from one crazy event to another, to say the least. He met Ordinem Sanariel, an ancient organization of spiritual healers; got stalked by a dual gunner who claimed to be an elite member of a secret society; was led to my destined encounter with Onoxys, the Tyrant Demon; and learned of the existence of Ordo Signum Sanctum, an ancient society that claims to possess the truth about man's potential, the purpose of life, and the events unfolding the eternal conflict of good and evil brought upon after the great angelic war. Best thing he learned so far... think twice before reading someone else's notebook.
