The slurping, sucking sounds continued.
It made me gag, the sight more revolting than the putrid smells surrounding me. Yet it wasn't the most alarming. The most alarming thing had been how rapidly she was turning pale. The previously warm and rosy person gaining a blue hue, the veins under her skin now so clearly seen.
I watched on in horror as he was drained her.
Sucking on her neck with relish.

He released her, flinging her body towards our cell. Lifeless green eyes stared blankly upon me. A shell of what once had been. Gall rose up mine throat as I turned, swiftly, heaving atop the concrete as it all became too much. I could hear others, hurling alike me, just as screams erupted all around.
Panting I looked up. The man was smiling amid the chaos. A mad glint in his eyes whilst his tongue flicked out to lick the crimson smeared around his mouth.
Monster.
