I actually had a dream about this adventure. In the dream, I took the point of view from the character Felicia. I remember waking up and swearing that I should remember the name Lyon [/leeˈon/].
The jest of the dream is about 6 kids chosen to be the future of society, with their powers that mutations have cause over a short period of time. Radiation caused the mutations, and the OWG (organized world government) brought the 6 together -- as they have done in the past -- to create an elite team to work for them.
Although many humans have mutations, it is still only 15% of the world population. The 6 are chosen every generation (about every 25 years) and those children are chosen -- not only because of their strength -- because they need to produce even more advanced off-spring.

60 bullets 59 58 57.. The countdown to 17 Bullets begins now. Eleanor was prepared for the zombie apocalypse, not a completely different planet with werewolves, dragons, and viper-fanged skunks! She will have to use all her survival tricks if she wants to stay alive. How will she react when she meets Thann, a handsome alien and learns that he and all men are werewolves and there hasn't been a woman on the planet for a hundred years? His hair was dark and cut long skimming his smooth angled jaw. Brows watching me with the same intensity as I was watching him. Very lovely rich tan color. Shirtless and barefoot, but wearing simple leather pants, with some kind of pack hanging to his hip. Stomach raw with some deep gash and body littered with cuts. The entire picture of him was genuinely mouthwateringly handsome, but with the dagger still held in one hand entirely too deadly. "Stay right there Dothraki!" I called, my rifle finally having something in the crosshairs again. I'd never watched the popular show, but the videos I saw sure had him looking like he could play one of the built characters. The dagger dropped to the ground and he fell to a single knee after it, though he didn't bend to pick it up. He bent to ...bow? His head stayed inclined as he bent and spoke. Nobody expects something supernatural to happen to them. Those kind of things only happened in comics. Fairy Tales. Unrealistic dreams that you'd fall asleep to, silently wishing for them to come true. At least, that was what these three teenagers thought. It turns out that there is so much more to their simple universe than they ever could have imagined. After each finding a strange alien artifact, the teens are suddenly thrusted into an intergalactic war. Alien species everywhere are trying to hunt down the most powerful weapons in the galaxy. And they are the ones in possession of it. When they run into a girl that claims to be from another planet, the three kids learn about the power given to them and the responsibilities that come along with it. Instantly, they are the most popular people in the galaxy. And for once, popularity couldn't feel more like a curse. Fighting grudges, fear, and distrust, the Chosen humans must travel to the one place on Earth where they might be safe. I'm the Princess to be exact. I love my planet with all my heart and I would do anything for my people. As much as I love Venus the one thing i've always wished we had that Earth does is true love. On Venus we have arranged marriages. It starts from the day you were born. Your parents would pick out someone just for you either five days older or five days younger. Since I am a princess my arranged marriage would be to a Prince. I'm turning eighteen soon which means I will need to be wed to take over as Queen. Prince Aaron was picked out for me, though he seems nice that's not the loophole. Having an arranged marriage isn't the worst thing. It's that your parents start to disappear... no one knows why or how this happens it just does. As soon as you are married they start to go starting from legs and up. I can't let that happen not with my three year old brother Daniel in the picture. He can't loose my parents, I can't loose my parents. And that's what brought me to this point, the point where I have packed up all my things and I have started my adventure. My adventure to find the cure. I have a feeling that if I find real true love on the planet Earth it will be the cure to help not only my family but the people of my planet. In the distant future of the 28th century, mankind had survived near extinction then made it into the wider galaxy. With almost no other sapient life in the Milky Way to stop humanity's expansion. Before Mankind became the dominant force in the Milky Way, Earth was in shambles. Natural resources were nearly depleted, diseases were rampant and most of Earth's population was in poverty. Then by some miracle of discovery or a cruel cosmic joke, in the mid-23rd century when all humanity could do was go out into space to search for a new home, a small planet that was black as the void around it was discovered. The humans who landed on the little planet had nearly lost all hope until they stumbled upon unknown ancient ruins beneath the planet's surface where they discovered untold amounts of bizarre advanced technology. Earth and humanity were saved, and the little planet to thank for their salvation was named Umbra. Alice is a xenoarchaeologist, her passion in life has always been the study of ancient cultures, and now she has the opportunity to study the most ancient one of them all.
