Because of her mentor's unfortunate death, Nova, a 15-year-old misfit, travels far and wide to find an unknown source of power that can cure any disease, and even bring people back from the dead. But when it is needed most, her secret ability no longer works, which nearly leads to her demise. After she's saved by a town boy her age, he offers to help her achieve her goals. She hesitates, thinking that his soft, and therefore opposite personality compared to hers would only slow her down.
But are they really so different?

So this is a story I wrote about a girl named Nova. She lives in a world where everyone has a supernatural power. Nova is 13, and if a person's power doesn't show by the time they're 14, they're given to the Government to either be tested or killed.
