In particular, a copper-haired vampire with a half-cocked smile who seems just as intrigued by her as she is distrustful of him. The longer she researches the coven, the more she finds herself questioning everything she thought she knew about vampires. 
    
    Despite fear as a constant companion, Sara must decide whether to follow her heart or her hunter's instincts. Her journey will challenge her preconceptions, ignite forbidden passions, and force her to consider what it truly means to be human.
