Your head has always been a weird place to live in, and it all leads to this point in which you don't care if you're falling in a trap anymore: the pain and the misery are addicting. With that, after starting working with the Judgement Day, you kinda already expected Rhea Ripley to break your heart. It didn't really matter that much, you had nothing to lose. What you didn't expect, though, is that she wouldn't do it, even when you kinda wish she would. Not intentionally, at least. She's good like that. But you, you are not. And maybe that's all it takes. //// This story is also on on ao3 as well, same name and same user if you wanna check it out (the story is more advanced there as I started posting there before) //// This story brings up sensitive topics that can be triggering to people so read at your own risk. (depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, low self talk, mentions of death, the list goes on) P.s. don't come at me for the timeline! It's for the sake of the plot :)

Ever since Summerslam, everything went downhill for Dominik Mysterio, and his decline in performance is becoming more and more obvious to allies and enemies alike. At odds with the Judgment Day and barely able to convince himself he made the right choice, he searches for a way to fix his mistakes. But when approached by a different faction with a tempting offer, Dom wonders if righting his past wrongs is possible... and if it's even the right thing to do.
