Expressions in our world are taken for granted. Christopher in the eyes of others is a normal 21 year old aspiring artist. However, he has a condition that that makes him unable to experience emotion. He has never felt happiness, anger, sadness, he has never loved. Which is surprising considering the passion portrayed in his work. Lola is an over emotional outcast who finds out about his condition. Plagued by her own struggles with depression she uses her time to discover ways to convey emotions in a way Christopher can understand them and just how important they are. All Lola wants is for Christopher to feel something, anything. While Lola attempts to make Christopher understand feelings she finds herself falling for him. The more she makes him understand the more she doesn't understand her own. The more time she spends with him the more unreadable her feelings for him become.
