Hal Parker has a fascination with blood. And not in the sick way, really. Touch him, come near him, or even blush, and he can feel the emotions run through you. Hal is a Hound, born from a pure line of them that can pick up the scent of human blood (and the high within it) to feed off the feast of emotions that courses through a humans veins. He has a knack for tracking and sometimes even connecting with the rare human's blood, forever being filled by all the emotions he may need.

All of a sudden, Hal finds himself connected with a strange girl. He isn't quite sure if she's human, nothing like this has ever happened before to his knowledge anyways. Thoughts dive in and out between the two of them, creating a connection they can not deny.

Without realizing it, Hal is thrown back into his old world of the Hounds, away from the human society he had grown accustomed to. But now, he keeps the Hounds from tracking, and killing the humans he's immersed himself with. Soon, he finds himself crossing the line of what it means to be a Hound, and what it means to be a Human.
