Vex is a fallen angel, sentenced to life between heaven and hell.
Under the rule of the Order a combination of Angels and Demon's who keep the balance of the world in check. He has been tasked with the position of keeping pesky demons and creatures in their place.
He does not care too much for humanity, save his favourite bar and the people who run it.
Keeping other demons and paranormal creatures in line, kicking ass and sending souls to hell takes up most of his time.
Vex's immortal life is pretty straight forward that is until his path crosses with an angel. Reluctantly and against his own will he is dragged into a bigger dilemma, one as big as heaven and hell on earth.

Vex is King of the Lugat's, a Dark Shade race of Bloodletters that are invisible to all but Dampirs, their mortal enemy. Years later Vex kidnaps Bree taking her to his castle in Romania claiming she is merely a pet for his amusement.
