Mumbo threw his third egg at the target block above Grian's door. The white shell exploded into a chicken as he finally hit the bullseye. Noteblocks chimed, out of time with each other. Footsteps pounded on the stairs within the house, quickly followed by someone running into the door at full speed. The wooden door swung open inwards, revealing the smaller, red-sweatered hermit. "Hey Mumbo," he greeted. "What seems to be the trouble?" "It's TFC's death, Grian," Mumbo responded. "I don't think it was natural." -=-=-=-=- Medieval City AU This IS a murder mystery, so there will be blood, gore, and angst. I will mix a bit of romance in, too, although that will lead to more angst. Since it's a murder mystery, there will also be a lot of death and a fight or two. Or maybe three. Grian was surrounded by the hermits, swords pointed. The boy frowned at the man in front of him, "I didn't kill him." His tone was clearly annoyed. "shut it watcher, we know your tricks." their youngest hermit who joined the server had left their server after staying a week. He was overpowered by his fellow hermits who had accused him of murder. "grian! that's grian!" the hermits who fled to find their youngest soon faced a replica of the shopping district. it was clearly deserted, yet somehow full of life. the missing hermit who they saw on a random window sill lay his head on a table, in each seat was an armour stand with different positions and different heads. this was his life for over 3 years. ~The hermits had huddled around a large hole in the ground. At the bottom of the hole sat two people. One had bright orange hair with a face full of freckles and what seemed to be antlers sticking out of her hair. The other was facing away from Grian and was wearing a plain grey jacket with the hood pulled up over their head. They turned and met the builders gaze and time seemed to slow to a stop. Grian couldn't believe what he was seeing. He was standing face to face with a dead person~ Grian left Evo and joined the watchers, whom he then betrayed and in turn, they destroyed Evo and everyone in it. But that's not where the story ends, because when season 8 of hermitcraft rolls around, Grian is shocked to see a familiar face. But what he doesn't know is that this familiar face is there for a reason. Because the watchers wanted Grian back. There is the exaggerated thump of feet on the sand as if the owner of said feet had crashed harder than he intended. I hear the rasp of a sword drawn from an inventory and the clash of diamond sword on diamond sword, as well as Doc swearing. It's the one person I was both hoping to see and trying to avoid at all costs. My twin brother... Xisuma Void. Welcome to that EX fanfiction that is coming straight at you from my strange brain. I got inspired by reading a ton of other books about EX. EX in this fanfic is a born female and straight. Just to make it clear. Grian is the most feared assassin known for his ability to kill swiftly and quietly. Hiding away, he holds a grudge against the King and anyone with power of unknown reasons. After an failed assassination attempt and a small look into the kingdom's history a few people start to wonder who the assassin really is. And even fewer wonder if they used to know the feared assassin. Only if they could capture him would all their questions answered. Right?
