After escaping her abusive father, Gwendolyn Brook arrives to London, suitcase in hand, and prepared to face the world head-on. Unfortunately for her, her dreams are crushed when she finds her boss murdered in the middle of the National Art Gallery. Destroyed and without a job, she decides to help her new landlady, a self-called "crime aficionado" and "amateur detective," solve the mystery in exchange for rent.

Do You Want To Know A Secret?
An interesting twist on the Sherlock universe-Sherlock is a girl. John, however, doesn't know this. Neither does Mrs. Hudson, or anyone else besides his direct family. This takes place sometime after series 2 or 3, with Mary only dating John. It will eventually contain a bit of Johnlock, with the usual tension and what-not throughout the whole story. But this isn't necessarily just a Johnlock story. There'll be other ships somewhat approached, but overall, it's more of a thriller (or at least, I'm trying to have it be).
