Kas and Kiara live on their own. Their parents left them when they were children. Kas started getting involved with alcohol, marijuana , weed, etc, and got the great idea to start a gang with his best friend Deja.
Kas doesn't like the idea of Kiara having a boyfriend and he gets really aggressive if a guy gets too close to her. He trusts Deja with his and his sister's life and trusts that he wouldn't do anything he'd regret.
Deja is conflicted on weather to hide his love or if he should risk getting a black eye or even killed by Kas.

If you like slow burns and angst this is the book for you. JJ and Kiara find themselves in situations where they are confessing feelings to one another. Would be great but the person hearing it can't decipher if they are serious or if it's just the circumstances.Complete
