Something Borrowed

Jordan was all about safety, stability, and security. He's known for being level-headed, for knowing how to prevent and avoid disaster. He could see how things could go wrong and bad. He never had to bounce back or rise from anything because his plans never fail.

Hindi sya naniniwala na kailangan munang magka-krisis bago malaman kung ano ang dapat gawin. It was the other way around. Walang krisis kung alam mo ang gagawin.

Then he met Carina, a woman who clearly had a habit of spending all her money and all that she could borrow on the finer things in life. One look at her and he knew she won't take a poor man for a husband. "No money, no honey." That was her. And obviously, she wanted him.

Wala pa talaga sa isip nya ang mag-asawa. Pero pumasok sya sa opisina at naabutang bakante ang mesa ng sekretarya nya. Well, a temp, that is. At naisip nyang nagsawa na ito sa paglalambing, panunuyo at pang-aakit nito sa kanya. And for some reason, he realized he couldn't afford the thought of Carina ending up as a mistress or the wife of another rich man who could give her what she wanted but would treat her badly. Wala nga siguro syang alam sa buhay may-asawa at maybahay, pero responsable naman sya.

Niyaya nya itong magpakasal at pumayag naman ito.
