In the Aurian Region, the mysterious Aura Surge pulses stronger than anywhere else on the planet. This volatile energy radiates from rocks, shimmering in hues of violet and blue when activated. Sometimes, it manifests as raw aura-emerging from deep forests or streaking across the sky like divine fire.
Scientists and professors remain baffled by its origin. But in their pursuit of understanding, they've created the Aura Force Shield-a microchip containing compressed aura energy that responds to life force. Once bonded to a host, it generates an invisible shield, halving incoming damage based on power disparity and preventing devastating Pokémon attacks from severing limbs or piercing vital points.
Humans now wear AFS watches, granting them similar protection. Even structures can be shielded-though their defenses degrade over time, requiring yearly replacement if exposed to continuous assault.
At the heart of this phenomenon is Kyam, a 15-year-old boy living peacefully in his family's Pokémon daycare. Life was simple-until the Aura Surge began calling to him. Visions. Whispers. A pull toward something ancient and unknown.
Now, Kyam must uncover the truth:
