Drowning is one of the weirdest sensations a person can experience, on the verge of death, walking that fine line between heaven and hell. The overwhelming feeling of ecstasy and falling. It's one of the world's many paradoxes... after all, how could you feel peace and suffocation at the same time?

Grace and Lily were two of many unfortunate people but their luck seemed to be worse than most. Though they were lucky enough not to be stuck in the maze, they didn't have the satisfaction of having a cushy life. Grace and Lily have been studying to be doctors their entire life, the weight of the world on their shoulders and their fathers impending scrutiny always taking its toll, but I guess that the life when you work for WCKD. Never would they have thought that their life would take so many twists and turns.
