I slowly sit up staring at the figures in front of me who were crying tears of joy. I sit there silently still a little dizzy from my soul returning back to my body. Inuyasha grips me tightly. " Kagome! Thank God! I thought I was going to lose you for good!" I stare at the man confused. He's hugging me because? Miroku stands up and starts to walk off. " Let's get back to the village." I've always fallen for older guys and liked the friends-to-lovers tropes, so this will hit both of those. I've tried to include little Easter eggs and nods to Inuyasha and Yashahime.
