When Pete opened his eyes, he realized "Oh, again?" it's the third time he found himself in a totally unknown place. 3 times in 3 weeks, when in reality he had confined himself into one single hospital room, taking care of Vegas, waiting for him to wake up after he was shot in the coupe.
these were dreams or time travel or parallel universe? Pete wasn't sure but for the last 2 dreams? which felt more than real, Pete has met Vegas in each one of them.
