This story is about a guy named Amir who feels depressed and hopeless. He wants to stop that pain he constantly feels, That's why after many failed prayers he decides to make a deal with the devil. He says "I want someone else to feel my pain". But the wish wasn't clear enough and a guy named Jonathan started feeling his pain as well. Every time Amir got hit on the face, Jonathan felt it, evey time he would fall of the stairs, Jonathan would also feel that pain out of nowhere, getting a punch in the face give him a bloody nose and so on...
The story is about Amir having a friend for the first time and feeling better with time thanks to Jonathan. The moral behind is that you're never alone. Even if you think no one cares about you, there is always someone somewhere in the world who's life will fall apart if yours do. Who'll get hurt if you do. Someone who feels your pain.
And in fact the deal with the devil wasn't successful, because what Amir got was a sort of protection angel, to always be on his side.
