After the previous Rider defeated Overlord of Dark. Hikaru Shindo is a fan of Kamen Riders and Anime/Manga but one day he was sucked inside the portal.

He meet an Overlord of Light told Hikaru to save the world from the destruction of the Overlord of Dark and protect humanity from the destruction of Lords. Hikaru accepts it and chosen to fight the Lords and protect humanity from the Overlord with his two companion who are police and the Gill as the Kamen Rider Agito.
