They met by accident...by chance.
The campus of UNC was busy that day. Everyone was in a hurry. Especially the two juniors that would collide and ultimately change their lives.
Brooklyn Morgan, a talented but struggling singer-songwriter, whose soulful lyrics go merely unnoticed in a world full of big artists. For Brooklyn, the bar stages are small, the paychecks are meager, and the future seems uncertain. But she clings to her music in hopes it'll be worth one day.
Across campus, you could find Alessia Russo on the field every day. An England native was living the American dream. She had everything going for her. She was a part of England's under-21 squad, on the verge of making her senior debut, and huge clubs were looking at her to sign.
One morning though, one was in a rush to get to her class and one was in a rush to get to practice, they run into each other. Something about the clumsy English girl took Brooklyn by surprise, and something about the American made Alessia's head spin. It's from there on, a connection is made. Their lives of now sitting in the stands and sitting in the crowd forms.
However, when Alessia forgoes her senior year to play in England, the connection they had fades and they become a small memory to each other.
But what happens when Brooklyn's finally selling out stadiums and one of them happens to be Wembley? What happens when they meet each other again for the first time in two years? What happens when the connection they had runs deeper than they first thought originally? What happens when they're right next to each other but feel as though they're worlds apart?

Hannah King doesn't do distractions. As the owner of KingFit, a popular St.Albans gym, her life is built around structure, early mornings, and helping others reach their peak. She's a personal trainer with a no-nonsense attitude and a reputation for getting results. Romance? Not on her schedule. Then Alessia Russo walks through her doors. One of England's brightest football stars, Alessia isn't looking for headlines or rehab-she just wants to train harder, push further, and stay sharp ahead of a massive season. KingFit came highly recommended. She didn't expect her new trainer to be so focused, so calm under pressure-and definitely not so gorgeous. Their connection sparks fast: challenging workouts, competitive banter, lingering looks between sets. Hannah's guarded, used to keeping clients at arm's length. Alessia's charming, confident, and persistent-determined to know the woman behind the clipboard. As their sessions grow more intense, so does the tension. Soon it's more than just reps and routines-it's late-night texts, secret smiles, and a chemistry neither of them can ignore. But with Alessia's growing fame, mixing the personal and professional gets complicated. In a world where image is everything and time is never enough, can two women with different lives-and the same fire-find a way to make it work? Sweat & Goals is a slow-burn, feel-everything sapphic romance about ambition, trust, and falling in love with the one person strong enough to match your pace. 🚨Explicit content 18+🚨

Alessia Russo knows the golden rule of Lioness camp: don't fall for the captain. Too late. Ever since that first call-up, Arsenal's golden girl Leah Williamson has had Alessia flustered, flattered, and totally floored - not that Leah has a clue. Calm, collected, and totally out of her league, Leah is everything Alessia's not: composed, commanding... and completely off-limits. Especially now. With a headline-making transfer from Manchester United to Arsenal looming, Alessia's about to become Leah's teammate. And if crushing on your national team captain is bad, pining for your club captain is basically career suicide. At least Ella Toone thinks it's hilarious. As training intensifies and lines blur between banter and something softer, Alessia must decide whether staying quiet is safer - or if risking it all for the one girl who makes her heart race might just be the best goal she's ever scored.
