Maeve is the quiet one, the student that practically lives under a rock, but secretly has her own article in the school paper each week on the mishaps of every student that has anything to do with anyone in Dolan High School. 'Hidden In the Corner' is all the rage around school, with everyone trying to play detective and figure out who the author is. Of course, there is an email box to send all the information to, you don't expect the famous 'hidden in a corner' to work all alone do you?
of course, everyone believes that it is good girl Cora Bardot, the popular high school sweetheart that people can never decide if they want to be friends with her, or want to BE her.
Cora has always thought that her and her childhood best friend Rowan Duke, were endgame, and would get married and have kids, the 'perfect life' as her parents always said.
Although Rowan has always had a special place in his heart just for Cora, even though he has been cheating on her with almost every girl desperate enough to fuck a football player. There was just one more problem with Cora...she doesn't know what 'romantic love' feels like.
Until she met Maeve Taylor. Who knows? Maeve may just be the Ken to her Barbie...

As the bond between them grows and they come to unravel a part of each other, they end up finding comfort. But the past continues to haunt memories and they find themselves stuck with their thoughts.
