The devil in disguise

Today is my wedding, and like any other girl, I want to be happy and marry the person I love, but why am I acting as a stand-in bride in front of my friend's fianceé?

Because I look exactly like her, even her family and fiance are unaware that I have been living with him for the past two months. Everything is going well, and she will return just before the wedding, but a week before that, I lost contact with her. I did everything I could to find out where she was, but to no avail. Ultimately, I fled this marriage, but now I am standing at the altar to perform all the wedding rites in her honor.

My wedding is today, but it has always been a business deal for me because, to me, love is just a word with no meaning, and marriage is just a way to get my grandfather's shares in my company. Nevertheless, here I am, standing happily in front of my would-be wife, whom I once detested. I do not think I can love anyone in this life, but after getting to know her for a month, I have come to terms with her presence, and I am looking forward to spending time with her. She is a light in my dark world, and I want to hold her in my hands firmly without tainting her pure soul.

A crucial question is how Sofie got into this predicament; was this her friend's plan all along, or is she the victim as well? What will happen to their fictitious marriage when the devil softens toward her and all the truth comes to light?
