Maki has always adored mythologies, particularly Greek. Knowing its history, the stories, and the Gods and Goddesses, her curiosity seem to grow day by day and that's what keeps her awake every night, except her studies.
She became interested in the Underworld as it was only mentioned briefly in the books. As she researched her curiosity away, there was a God who is watching her every move and wanted to connect with her. So, they tried reaching out to her.
