When Aneeka arrives in Winguard with Fergus, she clings to his promise of a new life where she can choose her destiny, far from the grueling stalactite mines of her native Willowbent. Their survival hinges on meeting Rat, who offers them shelter and food. Together, they establish a lucrative robbery operation. This small band of thieves functions like a family for two years, but Aneeka grows disenchanted and neglected. Fergus, once her partner and equal, now treats her as a mere ornament, losing himself in alcohol, brawling, and the company of other women. In contrast, Rat has always been there for her-protecting, listening, and making her laugh. With him, Aneeka feels safe and truly seen. What begins as a strong friendship between Aneeka and Rat evolves into a passionate love. But Fergus is proud; can he accept this new reality and let her go? Inspired by the Elder Scrolls IV: Skyrim universe.
