In contrast, Rat has always been there for her-protecting, listening, and making her laugh. With him, Aneeka feels safe and truly seen.

What begins as a strong friendship between Aneeka and Rat evolves into a passionate love. But Fergus is proud; can he accept this new reality and let her go?
