It is 2024, and Japan has just released the news of a global catastrophe, an apocalypse.
War breaks out and the virus quickly spreads from country to country, picking out each living organism and developing it into what you would call a zombie.

Tsukasa Tenma, and his little sister Saki, grew up in Shibuya, Tokyo before the apocalypse and have been in hiding, but that has backfired as the majority of the human population are the living dead.
Rui Kamishiro, who is also living in Shibuya, has gone into hiding as well, but resides in a different part of the city, not much is known about him.

The Tenma's are forced to go out to find food and water otherwise they will stave, and stumble upon a house that seems to have running water and a stock filled fridge, as Tsukasa going to turn the fridge door open, Saki screams as a hand wraps around his neck and a knife is pulled out.
