Obi is, as you might call, an introvert. The outdoors terrifies poor Obi. Yet, under the strict demands of his parents, after so many years isolating himself inside from the mysterious outside world, Obi is forced to venture outside. To his worse horror, all of his nightmares come true, and his struggles take him far into the unknown. Obi must face his fears and become what we might call: not a typical hero!
This story is for any age, although personally I recommend being 10+

❝You have to place your foot here." Obi-wan lowered his soft hands to dip of my hips, firmly directing them while brushing my back with his chest. "Now, you have a balanced form." His hard, wet, breath rolled down the length of my neck like a persistent tide. A shiver ran through me. But his hold did not falter. Not as his fingers gently lingered on the curves of my body where he absently stroked my bare skin. Biting down on the roaring in my head, I bring my arms up to the defensive stance he'd been teaching me for the past half hour, feet sliding in compliance of his instruction. "How is this?" I breathe; completely and utterly distracted by the delicious heat of him behind me. So tempting against the cold ripples of wind that glide past the ocean waves into the tree's behind us. Leaning slightly into his touch, a rather solid mass pokes the curve of my lower back. As lighting strikes the ground, Obi-wan quickly removes his hands from my waist. I hear swift footsteps retreat a healthy distance behind me, leaving my back cold and bare. With furrowed brows, I turn to see him wiping away invisible sand on his cream coloured robes. "What is your name? " he enquired with a staid expression. Obi's eyes roamed around still trying to ascertain the safety of their current surrounding. Her lips were still quivering out of shock and her breathing distorted. "Obiukwu" She finally let out still battling with unsteady breathing. He adjusted the cuff of his pristine white shirt and helped her up. "For a girl with a boy's name you certainly do not think like one. Usually when a female dog comes after you, you don't run towards her young puppies, you run far away from them". She adjusted her pleated skirts which had been torn while she ran frantically from the enraged beast. This boy's words were rather insulting but she swallowed any form of insult that would have ensued especially from his reminder of the stereotype that had been carved out from her name . A simple act of gratitude, for he had been her savior. Was he not a dunce for thinking that way?. She knew a lot of moronic boys and her cousin Chukwudi was the ideal example. The dog had run at the sound of his command. She walked away from him slowly hoping to see Sandra somewhere close. "Hey! You owe me a thank you and something else".
