The fabric of reality has always been thin. In the grand multiverse, the sheer differences between any two universes is unimaginable. When a group of scientists tries to form a breach into one such universe, they're far too unprepared for the horrors that cross into their universe. Enter Colt, a secret agent who failed to prevent The Merge from taking place. Can he discover the secrets of The Merge and put a stop to it before the universes collide? Or will he meet the same, pitiful demise as the researchers who put the world in this situation?

The characters and situations in this book are very real, if gore or horrific mental images scare you, then I wouldn't recommend reading far. DESCRIPTION: The Infection claimed the lives of over 3 billion people before the TV's went off. But it would claim many more. The problem didn't arise when those people got up and started walking again, or even when they started eating and infecting others, it began when people got desperate. In this new world, the true evil that humans are capable of gradually becomes more apparent, and a part of everyday life. Normality doesn't exist, people don't help other people. Friends aren't a thing anymore. All anyone truly has is themselves, and the burdens they carry.Complete

I was just a rookie magazine reporter, placed in a world I could only dream about before being accepted into the one job I've been working towards for years. My life gets completely turned upside down at the opening party of the first legal casino in Japan, better known as my first story for Cinderella. Famous men have taken a certain interest in me, one in particular seems more curious than the rest, and I'm not sure how to handle any of it. Silvia Arrow (That'd be me) is confused, flustered, and just praying helplessly for things to go back to normal again. Ha. That possibility disappeared the second I got so drunk I passed out that same night. Someone help this Cinderella reporter go home before midnight... Running behind spy was a sentry of what looked to be a Heavy. The blu Pyro glanced around quickly and saw a blu Teleporter to the right of him. He ran as fast as he could, entering the Teleporter and to safety. "We'll get em' next time, mates. Don't need to worry, that mongrel prolly' didn't get far anyway." Sniper reassured. They all headed back to the rest of the battle. [SIDE NOTE] Hey guys! So if you read this, here's a side note. I am not totally accurate with these characters and I'm not totally accurate with the map. I do these stories because I enjoy writing them. I tried my best to do research and make the story fit as best as I could. Also I am not the best writer, so I'm sorry if I made a mistake in spelling or punctuation. I tried to organize the text, too. I made sure you can read the dialogue without having to "search" for it in a conundrum of words. That's always annoying.
