This story is a retelling of "One Night," a game by "Dark Gaia Studios." I recommend checking it out. It's free on Steam, and I'm sure you could look it up for the original download too.
The fabric of reality has always been thin. In the grand multiverse, the sheer differences between any two universes is unimaginable. When a group of scientists tries to form a breach into one such universe, they're far too unprepared for the horrors that cross into their universe. Enter Colt, a secret agent who failed to prevent The Merge from taking place. Can he discover the secrets of The Merge and put a stop to it before the universes collide? Or will he meet the same, pitiful demise as the researchers who put the world in this situation?

The main storyline will pretty much stay the same though. Olivia Miller and Brooks Green were crew members aboard the largest ship launched by Alterra, the Aurora. The spacecraft was on its way to the Adrien Arm within Federation Space to construct a new phase gate. But a secretive side mission, which most of the crew was unaware of, was to be completed on the way. The Aurora was to preform a slingshot maneuver around an ocean planet but unexpectedly, it was shot down by a mysterious weapon. Olivia and Brooks were the only two survivors out of the entire crew. Now they needed to pull together to find some way off of the alien planet covered in oceans and inhabited by undiscovered creatures. But unknown to them, the planet was in serious danger from a bacteria floating within the waters. A mystery that would send Olivia and Brooks diving to the deepest part of the ocean in order to save this planet and themselves. (This game was created by Unknown Worlds Entertainment and I do not own this game. I do use the actual recordings from the game so they are written in between ** these symbols and are also not mine. Hello, Logan here. It is 2021, and this is the first book that I ever wrote. It's shit. I'm publishing it back on Wattpad again so my friend can read it. It is unedited and as I left it in 2017. I am currently published with three books out, and this is so funny to look back on. Enjoy reading my shittest work to date. Lots and lots of love, Logan Beadnell-Davies The overarching theme for this first book is a theme of rage and hatred. In the words of a great philosopher; there is no limit to the gruesome and grotesque things we are willing to do in the name of survival. While reading this; Remember that not everything is as it seems. Remember that loved characters will die. Remember that the world will gradually get worse as the parts go on. Take a moment to ask yourselves these questions: What would you do in the name of survival? Would you steal to survive? Would you kill to survive? Would you lose your mind to survive? If you lost your mind, do you think you'd kill more, steal, injure, backstab, rape or any other atrocity you can think of? If you can think of it, then maybe you would. The characters and situations in this book are very real, if gore or horrific mental images scare you, then I wouldn't recommend reading far. DESCRIPTION: The Infection claimed the lives of over 3 billion people before the TV's went off. But it would claim many more. The problem didn't arise when those people got up and started walking again, or even when they started eating and infecting others, it began when people got desperate. In this new world, the true evil that humans are capable of gradually becomes more apparent, and a part of everyday life. Normality doesn't exist, people don't help other people. [ Location : New Mexico; Teufort City ] Muffled screams could be heard from a mile away. Clacking of feet trailed behind the panic. "Get that bloody bogan!" Sniper shouted, carrying his Hitman's Heatmaker. Following behind him was Spy, shouting, "Oh mom dieu! After this, I am going to be visiting your mother!!!". Running behind spy was a sentry of what looked to be a Heavy. The blu Pyro glanced around quickly and saw a blu Teleporter to the right of him. He ran as fast as he could, entering the Teleporter and to safety. "We'll get em' next time, mates. Don't need to worry, that mongrel prolly' didn't get far anyway." Sniper reassured. They all headed back to the rest of the battle. [SIDE NOTE] Hey guys! So if you read this, here's a side note. I am not totally accurate with these characters and I'm not totally accurate with the map. I do these stories because I enjoy writing them. I tried my best to do research and make the story fit as best as I could. Also I am not the best writer, so I'm sorry if I made a mistake in spelling or punctuation. I tried to organize the text, too. I made sure you can read the dialogue without having to "search" for it in a conundrum of words. That's always annoying. Please don't yell at me if you didn't like the ending, or how an event played out. It's really my story, so I can do what I want with it. That's all I really have to say. I know, I had to say a lot.
