When I woke up the sun was starting to rise witch meant I had to go hunting with Gale. Past District 12 there was a forest were me and Gale went hunting. It was forbidden but that's were me and Gale got stuff like squrriels, rabbits,basil and strawberries. Then we would trade some food for bread and spices. My daddy was a Miner. I was the "hunter" because my daddy was blown up in a mine. Prim is my little sister .When I went with Prim to go look at expensive cakes the bakers son tried sneaking me a loaf of bread. Then the baker slapped her son with a fish. A few months later I entered me and Prim in the raffle .Then we went to see would get to be in the hunger games. When they announced the girl one Effie Trinket said Primrose Everdeen. Then I thought one slip out of thousands? Before Prim reached the stage I walked of the isle and said "I will take my sister's place".Then I sat down on the stage. Then Effie Trinket said "Peeta Elmark". I was like oh crap.

When I was eleven. My whole world changed. Katniss' dad died in a mining accident. You think it wouldn't affect me but I loved him just as much as Katniss did. Maybe even more than I loved my own father. I felt bad, that my own dad couldn't compare to Katniss'. He loved me too though. Loved me like his own. The day he died was the first in a long line of times I have ever seen Katniss cry. She never cried before then but she cried a lot after. Katniss' mother was suppose to get a job after his passing, she didn't. They were starving, dying. I decided to help. After school I would drag Katniss into the woods by her feet. We'd never gone in there without her father. It seemed like a scarier place without him. After some time it wasn't so scary. I don't know what made me volunteer for Katniss. When I heard her name echo throughout the crowd my heart stopped. It wasn't my name, but it was my best friends. There was no way she could survive in there. She had a family, a sister to take care of. I thought my parents could live without me. The name Effie called next was the only name I prayed and prayed I would never hear her say. Peeta Mellark. The Hunger Games 2 - The Flames
Hey , my names Amanda Mellark , loving and caring daughter of Katniss and Peeta Mellark. Im 15 turning 16 during the games , the games have returned as snow has risen from the dead to once again to take over our nation, Snow's return from the dead has also brought back my Aunt Prim but shes now still the age of 13, I will be making my way into the arena to hopefully be crowned district 12's new victor like my parents. The story gets sad during the games as i lose people who are close to me in the arena , looks like i have to be the hero in this story this time as i battle in the 84th hunger games. President Snow yet again wants to get things his way , but will that last for long? , as me , Mark , Jake , Katniss (mum), Peeta (dad) and Gale (uncle) team up for a rescue mission on getting Aloe back to safety and their side once again , will Haymitch is no longer here to help us survive can we do this without him? Beetee will provide us the full security for the mission as the district helps the team. Will he come back safely? I'll come home from the rescue mission for Aloe , is he home? safe? , as my mission continues to go on to the day I will assassinate Snow as I become the rebellious leader of the whole of panem and guide the nation back to reality ? can I do this? What will happen to me? What goes on during the games? What happens to snow?
