When I woke up the sun was starting to rise witch meant I had to go hunting with Gale. Past District 12 there was a forest were me and Gale went hunting. It was forbidden but that's were me and Gale got stuff like squrriels, rabbits,basil and strawberries. Then we would trade some food for bread and spices. My daddy was a Miner. I was the "hunter" because my daddy was blown up in a mine. Prim is my little sister .When I went with Prim to go look at expensive cakes the bakers son tried sneaking me a loaf of bread. Then the baker slapped her son with a fish. A few months later I entered me and Prim in the raffle .Then we went to see would get to be in the hunger games. When they announced the girl one Effie Trinket said Primrose Everdeen. Then I thought one slip out of thousands? Before Prim reached the stage I walked of the isle and said "I will take my sister's place".Then I sat down on the stage. Then Effie Trinket said "Peeta Elmark". I was like oh crap.

Hijacked (An Everlark Fanfic) (Plot twist/After Mockingjay story)
This story is based off a mini plot twist, but otherwise this is just an After Mockingjay story. The plot twist is basically that Katniss didn't kiss Peeta when they were in the Capitol during the Rebellion, and how it would effect Peeta's recovering, since that is obviously taking it a step back. --- Katniss is broken, tortured, and she has lost almost everyone she ever took a second to care about.
