a Found Family Story set in The Cybertronian war.
This story includes a little bit of hinted Optiratch as the two take care of Bumblebee, the sparkling they found on the battlefield. Ratchet retreats from the lines of war in order to give Bumblebee a safe and happy life, but does that work out fully for him? I wanted to write a story that shows the love the mechs have for each other and how the war effects them. I hope that portrays well in my story!
I will be updating this regularly. It is a 6th chaptered book so keep an optic out for the rest as I post!

A small band of Decepticons aren't satisfied with the way things played out. Seeking revenge and compensation, they take the sparked medic hostage, and the race begins. A terrified girl finds herself mixed up with three other children in a war that had somehow reached to them. Unlike the other children, she did not have a home to go back to. Scars like hers run too deep and she does not know what worth she could even give to the transformers who have now become her guardians to protect her from decepticons. Her near constant presence in their base seems to be a bother to the transformers, she can tell even if they do not say it out loud to her. The girl is not a fool. However, when they realize just how deep her pain truly was and how far she is willing to end it, Optimus is unwilling to give up on her. She does not understand his reasons, they slowly become clear. And when she finally runs in with Optimus's arch enemy, she finds herself eyeing off a certain decepticon leader in a way that she should not have. And she did not know why.
