This is a short poem, maybe longer, about Romeo and Juliet.
I wrote it for an English task/activity and decided to add more to it and add it up on Wattpad.
If you've watched the Film that was set around the 1990's and had Leonardo DiCaprio staring then some bits in my poem will be clear to you since I've added a few scenes into it. 


One night at a Ball i think i fell in love, well if love at first sight counts then okay.  My heart stopped and the world around me stopped and i felt as if i was starring in a movie or dreaming, because it felt so unreal. He looked so unreal, but so incredibly attractive, i couldn't help but stare. Why did he have to be so attractive? I saw him a few times and I'm pretty sure he saw me, before our little staring contest was broken when i had to talk to people i didn't even know.


I talked to a group of people and mind kept going back to how the fishes swam around making his face stand out.  I sighed and thought to myself

'Could this be love?'

I listen in quietly as I tiptoed around the corner to see what my boyfriend was talking about. If he's cheating I'm going to beat his ass and her ass . I started to listen... "Alexis is going to be over happy !" he said with joy in his voice Um what do he mean ? What is he planning ? He knows I don't like suprises ...ugh. "Yes , yes she is once this suprise party is done " Juliet said Oh gosh! what have I done listening in on his convos but now I heard to much ! I tried to back away but they saw me . Shit , just goddamn shit "Babe ? , did you hear something we said ?" he asked with seriousness in his greenish hazel eyes "Um ! n-nothing duhh I kinda tripped and such " I stuttered along with a nervous laugh "Bestfriend be for real did you hear anything ?" Juliet asked " I told you nothing , I heard nothing" I covered up with my bright smile and walked away I walked to the bathroom and let out a nervous laugh again . I can't believe what I just heard ...their planning something for me? this is the first time someone every thought about me . my cheeks start to get wet . Shit I'm crying "Alexis , are you okay ? " Juliet asked with sincere in her voice " Its just that I notice that.." I trailed off "Nobody gives a fuck about me at all" I wiped away tears as I said it "That's not true don't lie to yourself , we care " she embraced me I stood there hugging her and crying , venting to my bestie that I love so much . she was always there no matter what and I'm glad she was here ~~ Please read I um this is my first book xD so enjoy

My face may be ugly but ugly souls like you are not even worthy of my life's single second" I said angrily and pushed him away from me but he didn't let me go away. "I can hide my ugly soul beside this face but ugly ducklings like you carry their ugliness which can't even be hidden by beautiful dresses because they stain everything around them with their ugliness" his words were hurting my soul. I won't give him the privilege to see my tears. With all my power I pushed him making him stumble and fall into the pool. "Happy birthday," saying that I tried to walk away with a victory smirk but he didn't let me go. Things he did to me after that still send a shiver down my spine. One thing was clear that day I would never want to see his face again in this life. But I don't know why the hell I am standing in front of him in church wearing a wedding gown. Looking at his victory angry smirk plastered to his face with my glassy eyes.

The tenebrous emerald green color of his eyes was beyond captivating. He took my breath away. A lock of his hair had fallen upon his forehead. It's downy appearance and dark shade of black was mesmerizing. The glistening of his skin definitely couldn't have gone unnoticed either. My body was pressed up against his before he brought me back up onto my own two feet. "Watch your step." He let go of my waist and brushed past me to leave the bus.
