Mizuki is a girl who lost her parents to the Fire Nation when she was twelve. After three years of successfully evading the Fire Nation's clutches, she crosses paths with the Avatar. Having nothing left to lose, Mizuki decides to join the Avatar on his journey of mastering the four elements with as goal to put an end to the 100 year war. As they travel, she learns more about her past. Turns out that crossing paths with the Avatar was more than just a mere coincidence. Mizuki and the Avatar's fate are tied together by a red string, which the elders had laid out perfectly.
