Set after The Cruel Prince, by Holly Black, this fanfic follows the relationship between Jude and Cardan, who have a love-hate relationship. There are many things wrong with the new reigning King, he's an alcoholic, doesn't care about ruling, and an overall asshole, but no matters, because Jude is the one in control. Jude never thought she'd be able to pull this off, she's successfully tricked Cardan into taking his place on the throne, until Oak comes of age. She is amazed with her own planning! She knows that the only help she's going to get is from The Court of Shadows, which is made up of The Roach, The Ghost and The Bomb.
