Amidst the Curse (ON A CURRENT HOLD)

A man and his friends set off to leave the "safety" of their homeland with the goal of finding a missing fragment of themselves-perhaps even having some unexpected company join them along the way as they travel by sea as an attempt to find the perfect place to live, almost getting killed multiple times along the way.

On their journey they find out a lot of things about their companions. Life-long or not, the shock from the information rips a small hole between them. Allowing the rip between group to get any larger might not end so well for them.

Who knows, maybe even by the end, their new companion and them might end up becoming friends and maybe even more?
