Alan Wake and Alice Wake had a son, Adrian. When Adrian was 2, an evil force took him and his mother and Alan gave himself up to save them. Years later, Adrian became an outcast, trying to uncover the truth of his father's disappearance. One day, he comes across an entity after following a strange organization. He bonds with the entity and they agree to help each other. Alice soon meets someone who claims to run a school for special children. Seeing a chance to give her son a normal life, Alice enrolls him in the academy.

Adrian soon finds out that his new school is for monsters and any human caught entering will be killed. Luckily he isn't an ordinary boy after his investigations. Adrian finds wonderful people and adapts to his new life as he harnesses his abilities and uncovers the secrets that have been surrounding him his entire life.

Following the manga since it's better than the anime.
