A slightly discoloured car rolled into the parking lot of the CIA facility, an unintroduced agent driving, and a sixteen year old in the back.
Walking with purpose, as she liked to call it, Riley entered the building, or at least that was her intention. However, she was abruptly stopped by a fairly smartly dressed man with a slight accent to his sharp tone.
"What do you think you're doing?"
"Helping my brother, why does it concern you?"
"Who's your brother?"
"Hank McCoy."

For Riley, she always existed within the shadow of her brother Hank. It was never a fault of his own, but rather their parents rather ignorant of what Riley achieved, because Hank had done it better.
When Hank was recruited to help against Shaw, his scientific contraptions were growing behind schedule, and so he dialled his sister's apartment phone, and just hoped that she still lived there.
Mutant? No.
Smart? Quite.
Feisty? Most definitely.
