When he was told he was to marry the heir of the traditional pack, Jungkook agreed, he was left with no other option. He was born and raised in the city and is already in-love with a certain Alpha he met in the University, but they lost contact with each other after graduation, and now, he believes he would never love someone as much as he loved Taehyung, or might never fall in-love at all.  So he has no reason not to agree, even if he is uncertain of the way of life he will eventually live on.

The Alpha, although having the same feelings for Jungkook, has to keep his feelings at bay because he knows as the heir, he has to marry the omega  he was betrothed to. He cannot turn a blind eye on the traditions he grew up with, not for an omega he is not sure will survive the life his traditional pack has to offer. So after graduation, Taehyung moved back home, burying the feelings deep down his heart that he knows, no one can ever occupy.
