Love Hurts Whether It's Right Or Wrong

A girl who didn't want to fit in. Outspoken, individualized and never held back. Known around as the weird girl, Charlotte -- who hated being called that and preferred Charlie -- didn't pay much attention to what the prissy girls at college said about her. The only thing she cared was about getting through the day and just going home to repeat the same routine over and over again.
Her previous year, Charlotte decided to just not show up for weeks at a time. That’s how she got held back. But it’s not like she cared. Usually you’re lucky if she shows up to one of her classes. Her family background isn’t a good one. Her mom and dad don’t get along, plus her older siblings don’t even give her the time of day.
She barely had any friends but there was always this one girl who never seemed to understand how Charlie just disliked the company of anyone. Emmie was clingy, hyper and sometimes a bit too needy, but she offered Charlie the needed social interaction just so she didn't border on the edge of being a complete odd ball.
Charlie wasn't keen on making friends and when she heard her High School had been selected as the home for a famous boy-band to attend, she couldn't help and roll her eyes at the idiocy of such thing.

Then comes into play badboy Zayn Malik. Known as the careless, quiet and mysterious one, he found a challenge in Charlie when he came across a girl that just didn't succumb under his brown-eyed stare and his very well known good looks.

It's a constant tug and pull but everyone has their struggles.

Maybe Charlie doesn't like getting close because she's scared someone will dig deep enough to find her skeletons or maybe she just doesn't believe in such things as love or even friends. She holds a dark past and a shadowing present that she thinks people are not welcoming of. She thinks it's only normal to hide. It's comfortable... Tolerable.

Zayn doesn't know, but he's willing to fight. Then again, doesn't he always get what he wants?
