Sirius Black has never paid much attention to her. She's Remus's friend, quiet in all the ways Sirius is loud, and nothing he needs to think about.
Until he does.
As their unlikely friendship shifts into something neither of them knows how to name, the people who are supposed to love them most become the greatest danger they face. A curse. A secret. Parents who would rather destroy than lose control.
Sirius has never been good at feelings. Izzie has never had the luxury of having them.
