The humans of Pyrrhia have been barely hanging on in their fight for survival for millennia. They have lived for generations under the talons of dragons, and are none too happy about it.

A transatlantic supply convoy from late 1942 has found itself no longer in the grim waters of the North Atlantic, but in a strange new world entirely.

The Allies will have to learn to navigate this strange new world. They must learn the strange ways of a strange people. As well as about a completely new- and uncanny- race of beings.

The Humans will have to learn the ways of an alien industry, technology, and way-of-life.

The SeaWings are losing in the War of SandWing Succession. They're backed into a corner, and are potentially open to options normally considered unthinkable...

I apologize in advance for the sup-par writing quality. I have never written anything non-academic before this. Obviously, I make a lot of mistakes, but I'm still learning as I go on.

The horrid cover is but a placeholder. I literally threw it together with shapes on Canva. (I have low standards, and pathetic art skills.)
Comments, tips, suggestions, and corrections are all greatly appreciated. (Lord knows I need them) Feel free to pitch questions. I enjoy the prospect of reading and interacting with comments and jokes y'all make regarding events in the story.

By the way, I'm also uploading the story on Royal Road. Just in case you're interested:

They're here. Who's here? "See for yourself. Stay low." I whispered. The two dragons snuck up alongside me, but I sensed Moon and Qibli with her. I heard a soft gasp as Moon got her first look at the enemy. "They look so small." "And what are those things in the water?" Qibli asked. "Ships. Supply ships." I gravely said. "They're probably establishing a beachhead to prepare for operations here." "Operations?" I turned over to face Qibli. "To prepare for war, SandWing. These people are here for war." A squad of 101st Airborne, bound for Japan after VE Day, are suddenly and mysteriously wrecked in Pyrrhia, a land of dragons and adventure. Do they have what it takes to survive and get home? What new and strange rules are to be found in this place? Are they able to face down a traitor in their midst? Or will they drag the war to the peaceful inhabitants of this new place, so that it truly engulfs all worlds? Follow Lieutenant Marvin with his ragtag squad of men; and Moonwatcher, a Nightwing with mind-reading and precognition abilities, in the first installment of the Wings of Honor series! This story takes place after the 3rd arc, and has spoilers for the 2nd arc (books 6-10). I wrote this before the end of the 3rd arc, and have therefore taken some artistic liberties. I did not read any of the arc 3 books when I wrote this, I only gathered information from the WOF Wiki. I do not claim ownership of the Wings of Fire book series by Tui T. Sutherland and Scholastic. This is a fan fiction series. Part 1 of 6 of the Wings of Honor Series.

NOTE: The following is a fanfiction inspired by Tui T Sutherland's "Wings of Fire" saga. "Wings of Fire" does not belong to me, and most of the material included in this story is fanon, not canon, though there will be several canon characters making appearances throughout the story. You've heard the story about how the NightWings manipulated the War of SandWing Succession, sending assassins and spies to watch over and control the situation for their own benefit. This is the story of one such spy, who was posted in the Kingdom of the Sea to observe the SeaWing army and Blister's forces as they sought victory in the world war. Silverstripe was raised by the Talons of Peace with one purpose in mind: to spy for the Talons in the War of SandWing Succession. Now that she's finally ready to begin her career, she's finding that spying on the SeaWings is even smoother than she anticipated. However, there are also complications that she'd never thought of... complications that could jeopardize her mission and even cost her her life. Will Silverstripe be able to observe the SeaWings from right under their snouts, or will her identity be revealed and her first mission cost her her life? Cover: photographed and designed by me. PS, for the artists out there: if you'd like to create fanart of Silverstripe's story and feel comfortable sharing your artwork, feel free to send it to me, and if you like I'll put it in the Fanart section of "The Secret of Silverstripe" Finally: Don't hesitate to leave any questions/comments/concerns. I'd love some input on my writing, and if you happen to spot some typos or grammer issues in there, please let me know so I can fix it. Happy reading! :)

NOTE: This is kinda old now, dawg why is this getting reads now? A Wings Of Fire story that takes place in the depths of the Sky'wing Kingdom, following the story of a powerful hybrid dragonet who has to fight in the infamous arena regularly for most of his life, until... ? This a story based on the book series Wings Of Fire, obviously. In this universe, most of the canon events didn't happen, and are instead replaced by my own original stories and characters. No canon characters from the books exist in this world. There is at least one fantribe in this world, that fantribe belonging to me. Mud'wings don't exist in this world, because i have an unexplained hatred for them. WARNINGS: • Violence + blood • May contain explicit / aggresive language / Mild swearing, etc. • May contain character death / drama, etc. You may: • Draw fanart of the characters. • Write about the characters. [No NSFW, excluding violence/gore] *Both with credit* You may NOT: • Use the characters from this story in a roleplay. • Claim the characters as your own. • Make characters of any fantribes in this story (or any other of my stories) *without permission.* This rewrite was written by Fefek1 / DinoFefe#6956 / Fefe / Me. All of the art is drawn by me. This excludes most realistic backgrounds, as they are just photos I've found online. All dragons drawn are 100% drawn by me, though. CHANGES ADDED IN THIS REWRITE: • Name changes • A LOT more art and references! • Both minor and major plot changes • Overall written better, and more coherently • Better dialogue • More realistic characters (Hopefully?) • Most of the cringey stuff removed (Hopefully?) • Longer • More backstories/character lore [Old version: https://www.wattpad.com/myworks/323920781-wings-of-fire-bluefire Read at your own risk, because It REALLY SUCKS

This story takes place only 10 years after the time of peace began. Hybrids are hunted by all but the Rainwings and the Sandwings. Dragons don't trust them because they don't belong to one tribe. They are sometimes horrible fails, but usually they are powerful dragons with skills of more than one tribe. This scares dragons and has brought them to hunt all hybrids. Follow Abyss and 6 other hybrids on fight to stay alive in the ever more threatening Phyrria. They have no idea of the great and dangerous journey ahead of them. All they know is avoid anyone, trust none, and survive at all costs. Wings of Fire does not belong to me. It belongs to Tui T. Sutherland. But the characters in here not mentioned in the actual Wings of Fire series belong to me and friends. The Dragon on the cover was designed by me on a creator on WWW.Dolldivine.com. The creator itself was made by kennonink from deviantart. Thank you!
