After a long and exhausting war, Drago and his dragon army were finally defeated by the combined forces of Hiccup and Toothless. As the victorious leaders of their respective tribes, Hiccup and Toothless brought peace to their lands, and the people finally felt safe. However, their peace did not last long, as rumors started to circulate about a new threat. Riders who were sent to patrol the northern markets, where the dragon hunter guild was known to reside, reported sightings of a mysterious figure that terrorized the area. This unknown rider was said to be mounted on a living shadow, leaving a trail of destruction in his wake, and was responsible for the merciless killing of countless dragons. When this news reached Berk, the Berkians knew that they had to put a stop to this. But, as they delve deeper into the mystery, they start to realize that there might be more to this shadowy figure than meets the eye. Is this a new enemy that they are facing, or is there something else that they are not seeing? Only time will tell.

I don't own HTTYD or the charters all of them belong to DreamWorks exetet my own ocs. And I tend to go back and add or change things in older chapters so if you see something that gets changed I did it because I don't like it, this will happen all of the time For as long as there have been Vikings and dragons, a fierce rivalry has raged between them, marked by countless wars and bloodshed. But what if a human emerged to aid the dragons, shifting the balance of power? The dragon raids on the village of Berk have intensified, fueled by the presence of this mysterious figure-rumored to be a demon-who possesses a strange ability to command the dragons. Whispers have begun to circulate among the villagers, tales of a creature who has been raised by the very beasts that swoop down from the skies, plundering and terrorising the brave Vikings of Berk. Are these rumours rooted in truth, or is this merely a fabrication born of fear and ignorance? As the myths surrounding this enigmatic individual grow ever more powerful, one question looms large: will anyone uncover the reality behind these stories, or will the legends take on a life of their own, shaping the future of Berk and its people? The most peculiar aspect of this individual is their uncanny ability to appear amidst a swirling blizzard. No matter how bright and sunny the day was just moments before, a fierce snowstorm seems to envelop the surroundings the instant they arrive. The air becomes thick with snowflakes, transforming the landscape into a white, chilly haze that contrasts sharply with the clarity of the day that preceded it.
From Darkness We Rise
When Hiccup's final test in the Kill Ring does not go as planned, he runs away, sure that nothing he can ever say will change Berk's mind. At least he's not alone though, and with his cousins and several dragons by his side, they leave the archipelago. Of course, not all is smooth sailing and Hiccup's emergence as the Dragon Master earns him more than one enemy. Eventually, it also draws the attention of Berk, who are suffering from increased raids and struggling to survive.
